The sooner that we admit that our Brookview Community is "Going to the Dogs" the quicker we can start to get these "Wake-Up Call" complaints fixed.

The reason that people continue to complain about some of these same issues is that irresponsible dog owners continue to ruin it to the detriment of the entire Brookview Neighbourhood.

Here are just a few of the ongoing (Day-After-Day, Year-After-Year) complaints that we as a neighbourhood are faced to deal with... whether we like it or not:

1.  Dog crap on the: walkways, sidewalks, trails, grass areas, parks and school yards.  How entirely convenient for these owners to not have to take the time to "Scoop the Poop".  Always so much easier for someone else to worry about it right?  Just turn-away or walk-away (while no-one is watching).

2.  Dogs left outside in their yards - barking incessantly at all hours of the day and into the night.  It would certainly be a relaxing treat (and a huge luxury) to be able to just listen to the sounds of nature, or kids playing - rather than the continuous, non-stop barking and yapping of some silly dog because the owner is too lazy to make it stop.

3.  Dogs continually trying to break-through and get-outside of the rotten fence boards and the broken-down gates of their owners. One of these days we are going to have a Safety Issue because some irresponsible dog owner did not take the time or the responsibility of ownership:  to properly repair or replace their dilapted and broken-down "fences" - which are meant in part - to keep the public safe.   Unfortunately, some dog owners also do not take the time to monitor or control their dogs while left unattended in these same "Fenced" backyards.

Come on Brookview Community Residents, it's Wake Up Time!!!

Let's do what is best for the entire community and address these ongoing complaints.  We need to prevent our community from further "Going to the Dogs".

We all Deserve Better - we should have the ability and - it should be within our community control to make this a neighbourhood where we can all share, respect and be proud to enjoy together.
